Merlin Schlumberger is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Board Certified Master Arborist (WE-7670B), an ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessor (TRAQ), a California Licensed Contractor and a consulting arborist. Merlin runs Merlin Arborist Group, a full service tree care and consultation company. He has worked as the Orchard Manager at the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center and is the Senior Arborist for Ecological Concerns Incorporated. Merlin volunteers as a climber for the Bird Rescue Center to renest raptors after they have been rehabilitated. He holds a BA in Environmental Studies/Agroecology and Sociology from UC Santa Cruz.
