Dr. Dan Famini joined the SRJC Ag/Natural Resources faculty in fall 2009. Dan received his DVM from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. For the previous four years, he served as a Veterinarian at the Humane Society of Sonoma County where he practiced traditional open-to-the-public medicine, performed over 6,000 surgeries, and adopted an eel. Dan was also the third generation in his family to attend and transfer from Santa Rosa Junior College. He continues to serve as the Veterinarian for local wildlife, reptile, and bat rescue groups and as a 4-H leader.
